Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Avionics Systems Technician to join our team in Marana, AZ. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, testing, adjusting, assembling, disassembling, repairing, cleaning, and calibrating aircraft avionics equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Research and interpret technical data to perform maintenance actions on avionics equipment, ensuring compliance with FAA regulations and company policies.
- Conduct thorough inspections of avionics components to identify defects, such as loose connections and frayed wires, and verify accuracy of assembly and installation.
- Test avionics equipment under simulated or actual operating conditions to determine performance and airworthiness, using test equipment like oscilloscopes, digital meters, counters, and circuit analyzers.
- Adjust, repair, or replace defective components based on analysis of test results, following blueprints, schematics, handbooks, and other technical documents.
- Calibrate installed or repaired equipment to prescribed specifications.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and post-secondary education or training in aircraft maintenance is preferred.
- One to three years of experience in related aircraft avionics is desirable, and an A&P License and/or FCC License are preferred.
- You must be able to read, write, and understand English language instructions and interpret technical data.
- A valid driver's license is also required.
The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 per year, based on industry standards and the cost of living in Marana, AZ. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
