Position Overview:

As an Integrated Supply Site Manager at Vallen, you will play a crucial role in fostering growth at our client’s location. This position involves overseeing daily operations and managing a team of associates to ensure the establishment of strong and profitable relationships with customers, contributing to Vallen's financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the onsite team to deliver Integrated Supply solutions, including staff management tasks such as recruitment, training, coaching, and performance management while adhering to company policies and standards.
  • Achieve sales and profitability targets for the local integrated supply site.
  • Drive customer commitments, including cost savings and key performance indicators, at the local site.
  • Exhibit a strong sense of urgency in providing exceptional customer service.
  • Manage the Profit & Loss (P&L) statement for the local site, ensuring financial goals are met or exceeded.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual payment terms from local integrated supply customers.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Supply Chain Management, Marketing, Finance) with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience in supply chain management or related industries.
  • At least 5 years of experience in staff management with a proven track record in leadership and people management.
  • Strong skills in developing and maintaining customer relationships.
  • Mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of manufacturing applications where Vallen’s products and services can yield cost savings.
  • Demonstrated financial acumen with the ability to interpret and manage P&L statements.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and capable of learning company-specific software.

  • Ability to work in dusty environments.
  • Handling of hazardous materials and wearing protective equipment may be necessary.
  • Certification for operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment may be required.
  • Work shifts may vary and include overtime as needed.
  • Physical demands include lifting up to 25 lbs. or more with assistance, standing, walking, kneeling, bending, and other physical activities.
  • Visual acuity for close and distance vision is necessary.
