The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing a post-construction fatality monitoring program at an operational wind facility. This will involve conducting fatality searches and carcass persistence trials, adhering to standardized protocols.

The ideal candidate will have excellent bird and/or bat identification skills for species in the region and the ability to work independently or in small crews. Strong communication skills are also essential for this role.

Responsibilities include:

  • Implementing a post-construction fatality monitoring program
  • Conducting fatality searches and carcass persistence trials
  • Keeping detailed data records
  • Working independently or in small crews

The selected candidate will receive a competitive salary of $25-$28 per hour, commensurate with experience. In addition to a salary, Tetra Tech offers a collaborative environment that supports individual performance, innovation, and creativity.

Requirements:

  • Pursuing a degree in Natural Resources, Wildlife Management, Wildlife Biology, or an equivalent degree preferred
  • Must be able to identify eagles and other raptors
  • Good bird and/or bat identification skills for species in the region
  • Previous field experience preferred
