Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our team at Cynet Systems in Elkhart, IN. This is an entry-level position in a Manufacturing group responsible for producing reagents for in-vitro diagnostic assays.

Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year

About the Role

This role involves performing general laboratory support functions to maintain laboratory cleanliness, operation, and safety. The successful candidate will be proficient in time management, possess well-developed interpersonal skills, demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, and exhibit attention to detail.

  • Supports production operations with routine stocking, cleaning of manufacturing areas, and other lab support duties.
  • Low complexity manufacturing operations (buffer mfg) and equipment support (column maintenance, equipment maintenance and/or cleaning) Glassware washing.
  • Material inventory monitoring support.
  • Collaborating with laboratory biochemists to order required buffers to meet weekly schedule.
  • Support Buffer manufacturing lab as needed.
  • 5S audits of laboratories for adherence to cleanliness, maintenance, and organization expectations.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have a high school diploma with strength in science and math or relevant work experience, or a B.S./B.A./A.S. in a relevant field. Local candidates are preferred, but we welcome applications from candidates with industrial experience and knowledge of GMP/ISO.
