Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Corporate Sales Executive to join our team in Salt Lake City, UT. This full-time position involves selling conceptual corporate sponsorship packages along with local radio, television, print, and digital media. Key responsibilities include achieving annual revenue goals by securing new partnerships, developing professional relationships with Athletic Department and University team members, and conceptualizing compelling sponsorship packages to maximize exposure and results for sponsors.
Responsibilities- Achieving annual revenue goals by successfully securing new partnerships, executing renewals, and driving upsells to cover for annual attrition.
- Demonstrating best-practices as directed by Company leadership to achieve exceptional results in-line with Company's mission of partnership-driven, consultative sales.
- Developing professional relationships with Athletic Department and University team members to ideate, develop, and pitch strategic marketing platforms for new sponsor prospects.
- Securing and conducting face-to-face sales meetings by leveraging relationships and strategic outreach.
- Negotiating and closing sponsorship deals and working with legal counsel through contract execution.
- Maintaining detailed CRM records of sales activity and sponsor communication.
- Supporting the coordination of fulfillment elements with Athletic Department staff to ensure delivery of all promised benefits.
- Collaborating with the property team and Company leadership on strategies to increase productivity, revenue generation, execution, and results.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in sports marketing and/or sales, or a related field.
- Interest in, and working understanding of, college athletics.
- Experience in event management and sponsor activation.
- Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe PDFs; Photoshop and/or KORE CRM experience a plus.
- Thorough research and analytical skills including the ability to synthesize findings into actionable plans.
- Great attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently.
The estimated salary range for this position is $80,000-$120,000 per year, commensurate with experience. We offer a competitive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, paid vacation, and a 401k plan.
