Ophthalmic Surgical Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Surgical Technologist to join our team at Sightpath Medical, the premier provider of mobile cataract and LASIK services across the U.S.

• We provide extensive on-the-job training to help you master the latest innovations in ophthalmic surgery.
• You will have the autonomy to manage your work effectively while being part of an expert team.
• As an owner of your assigned territory, you will travel extensively using company-provided vehicles and equipment, providing expert service to our customers daily.
• With 8-10 case days per month, you will enjoy flexibility on non-case days when working from home or traveling.

• Certified Surgical Technologist: You must hold a degree in Surgical Technology and be certified or eligible to be certified through the NBSTSA. Certification through the NCCT may be acceptable depending on the assigned territory.
• Adaptable and Travel-Ready: You should be comfortable driving to various locations in your assigned territory and staying overnight when needed. All travel expenses are covered.
• Excellent Communicator: You will build strong relationships quickly with surgeons and their teams.
• Self-assured: You will thrive in high-pressure environments with confidence and professionalism.
• Organized and Detail-Oriented: You will manage equipment and complete administrative tasks required to support your assigned territory.
• Ophthalmic experience is a plus, but not required.

• We offer relocation allowances for qualified candidates who may need to relocate to join our team.
• You will require a valid driver's license with a clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)/driving record.
• Strong customer service and communication skills are essential.
• Basic computer skills – utilizing a company iPhone and iPad – are also necessary.
