Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Laboratory Specialist to join our team at Upson Regional Medical Center.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing clinical laboratory analysis on patient specimens and ensuring the highest quality control procedures. This may involve drawing blood from patients of all ages, from neonates to elderly individuals. Our ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of policies and procedures and adhere to them while recognizing the importance of age-specific needs as defined in the competency checklist.

This is a challenging role that requires a minimum of an Associate's degree from an accredited school in Laboratory Science, Clinical Lab Science, or a related field. Additionally, certification as an MLT or MT through an accredited agency is mandatory.

Responsibilities
  1. Perform clinical laboratory analysis on patient specimens.
  2. Ensure the implementation of necessary quality control procedures.
  3. Drawing blood from patients of all ages, from neonates to elderly individuals.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $62,000 - $72,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
