Home Health Physical Therapy Assistant

LHC Group is seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team in providing high-quality care to patients in their homes. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping patients achieve their rehabilitation goals and improve their overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Perform treatment and provide exercise instruction and patient education aimed at improving/enhancing the patient's well-being.
- Follow the established plan of care and make recommendations for changes to the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Instruct and aid patients in active and passive exercise, muscle re-education, gait, functional, ADL, transfer, safety, and prosthetic training.
- Observe, record, and report to the supervising PT, the nurse supervisor, and/or the physician the patient's response to treatment and changes in the patient's condition.
- Current licensed, registered, or certified to assist in the practice of physical therapy in MA.
- Current CPR certification is required.
- Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.
