Job Summary

Humana is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer to join our Marketing organization. This role reports directly to the Director, Technology, Measurement, & Optimization, responsible for executing the measurement strategy for the organization and individual campaigns in alignment with organizational leadership and Humana standards.

Main Responsibilities
  • Work with Campaign Manager and Campaign Strategy roles to define the measurement approach for each campaign.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing & Product Analytics team to determine how data analytics apply across campaigns and how the latest analytics inform marketing efforts.
  • Execute testing efforts for the organization across customer segments and products to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of marketing campaigns and strategies.
  • Conduct performance measurement of campaigns to determine how effectively they meet predefined goals and contribute to overall business objectives.
  • Structure, process, and interpret key metrics and performance levers for the omnichannel process, including campaign analytics, effectiveness of cross-channel content, and closed-loop measurement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, finance, analytics, or other related fields.
  • 5+ years of experience conducting marketing performance measurements.
  • 2+ years of project leadership experience.
  • Experience with business intelligence platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Strong mathematical skills to analyze complex data sets of marketing performance and derive actionable insights.
  • Highly proficient in Excel & PowerPoint, and possess excellent communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in marketing, Communications, or Business.
  • Advanced degree in a quantitative discipline, such as Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing platforms (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Experience Cloud, etc.).
  • Prior health insurance industry experience.
  • Understanding of marketing metrics and program measurement.
