Job SummaryThis is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team as a Nursing Secretary. In this role, you will provide administrative support to our medical staff, ensuring that all patients receive the best possible care. You will be responsible for answering phone calls, greeting clients, and maintaining accurate patient records.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have a strong passion for delivering excellent customer service and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of patient care. You will work closely with our medical team to ensure that all patients receive the necessary support and care.
Responsibilities- Assist the medical staff in answering phone calls and directing messages.
- Meet and greet clients, providing a warm and welcoming environment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Support the delivery of client care by providing clerical services.
- Follow instructions from medical staff regarding patient care and treatment.
- Arrange discharges and coordinate transportation services.
- Maintain unit supply inventory and order supplies as needed.
- A High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
- A working knowledge of HIPAA regulations is mandatory.
