Electricity Design Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team at Asplundh Engineering Services, LLC.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing power designs for infrastructure upgrades, facility replacements, new customer installations, and various electric utility projects throughout Idaho. This role also involves performing engineering calculations, applying state tariffs, preparing contracts and easements, and overseeing general project documentation.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Access)
• Ability to use engineering software such as Spida Calc, Ocalc, Cyme, and programs for cable pulling calculations, guying, and power quality analysis
• AutoCAD proficiency, with specific requirements based on experience level

This position requires travel to client sites, project locations, and other offices as required. The chosen candidate will primarily work on-site in and around Idaho Falls.

We offer a competitive salary of approximately $85,000 per year, which is commensurate with industry standards and the location in Idaho. Our benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision benefits that start on the first day of employment.
