Nutrition Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Dietitian to join our Nutrition Team at the prestigious Sunnyview Rehab Center in Schenectady, NY.

About the Role:

• As a Clinical Dietitian, you will provide medical nutrition therapy, including nutrition assessment, diet modification, education, and intervention for our patients.
• You will adhere to all guidelines outlined in the Company Diet Manual and Clinical Nutrition Policies & Procedures Manual.
• Compliance with regulatory standards, confidentiality policies, HIPAA regulations, and patient rights is essential.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive medical nutrition therapy services to patients.
• Train and mentor patient services staff and interns as needed.
• Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
• Licensed by the State Dietetics Licensing/Credentialing Board, if required.
• A minimum of one year of hospital experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft office applications, electronic medical records, and nutrient analysis software.

Compensation and Benefits:

• An estimated salary range of $60,320-86,112 per year, based on experience.
