We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to join our team at The Brazos Group. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the daily construction activities on project sites, coordinating with subcontractors, and ensuring that all work is completed on time and to the highest quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Construction Science, Construction Engineering Technology, or a related field, and 5-15 years of relevant experience in K-12 school construction. They will have managed crews of ten or more tradesmen and have experience with project management software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the daily construction activities on the project site
  • Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure that all work is completed on time and to the highest quality standards
  • Review and understand project plans and specifications to ensure that all work is completed in accordance with these documents
  • Monitor project budgets and schedule to ensure that the project is completed on time and within budget
  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure that all project requirements are met
  • Maintain a safe and organized work site

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Science, Construction Engineering Technology, or related field
  • 5-15 years of relevant experience in K-12 school construction
  • Managed crews of ten or more tradesmen
  • Managed all subcontractors on a single project
  • OSHA 30 hour, First Aid/CPR
  • Ability to perform layout with use of construction survey equipment
  • Understanding of plans, specifications, and construction documents
  • Strong work ethic, decisive, ambitious, with an unwavering commitment to quality
  • High level of motivation, integrity, and commitment to team and customer
  • Results-orientated with proven ability to organize, plan, and prioritize work to meet deadlines
  • Ability to provide leadership to field personnel and subcontractors
  • Ability to manage owner expectations
