Toddler Teacher

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Toddler Teacher to join our team at Faith Lutheran School of Redmond. As a Toddler Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children, promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development.

• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the school's curriculum and promote whole-child development.
• Establish a safe and inclusive classroom environment that fosters social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
• Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues to ensure a collaborative approach to child development.
• Assess and document children's progress, using Brightwheel to track their development and create individualized plans.
• Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of school policies and procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to school policies regarding child health and personal identifiable information.

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
• 30 hours of Child-Care Training Hours or equivalent experience.
• Must continue State Training and Registry Systems (STARS) hours as required by the Department of Children, Youth and Families (DCYF) of Washington State.
• Maintain First Aid, Bloodborne Pathogens (BBP), Background, TB, and CPR/AED certifications.

• Must be able to lift 55 pounds and respond appropriately to an emergency or crisis.
