Systems Analyst I

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Analyst I to join our team at Beacon Health System. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for coordinating computer applications, troubleshooting issues, and providing exceptional support to our end-users.

• Coordinate computer applications and projects for defined support areas, including project tasks, troubleshooting, and documentation.
• Provide ongoing support to one or more applications/systems, adhering to established departmental policies and procedures.
• Assist in performing system tests, analyzing test results, and preparing specifications for new systems, projects, or enhancements.
• Serve as a liaison and facilitator with Beacon Health end-user departments, recommending solutions or alternatives to meet their needs.
• Participate in business process redesign and documentation, identifying solutions that meet end-user department needs in the most effective and efficient manner.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IS, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of two years of progressively more responsible experience in a related support area.
• Strong technical skills and knowledge necessary to effectively use and support various software and hardware.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of Beacon staff and vendor representatives.
• Basic analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify problems and deliver solutions in a timely and efficient manner.

This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced, quality-focused, multi-priority environment, with the ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines. The physical demands of this position include sitting, standing, and walking for prolonged periods, lifting, holding, and carrying objects weighing up to 30 pounds.
