About the Role

Creative Dining Services is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Cook to join our team at the Dordt University campus in Sioux Center, IA. As a key member of our dining services team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality meals to our students and clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a variety of menu items, including grilled meats and vegetables, to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment, adhering to all food safety and handling regulations.
  • Collaborate with our team to ensure efficient food production and timely service.
  • Participate in inventory management and ordering of supplies as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of cooking experience, preferably in a fast-paced dining environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
  • ServSafe certification is a plus, but not necessary.
