Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Labor and Delivery Nurse to join our team at Mercy Gilbert Medical Center. As a Labor and Delivery Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our patients and families through the childbirth process.

Responsibilities
  • Triage patients to determine the best course of care
  • Support patients in labor, including induction, epidural assistance, and fetal monitoring
  • Assist and circulate in the operating room for cesarean sections and other procedures
  • Educate patients on various interventions and procedures
  • Assess newborns and provide care
  • Communicate with the care management team to ensure seamless patient care
Qualifications
  • One year of Labor and Delivery experience preferred
  • ADN, Diploma, or Foreign Equivalent
  • BSN preferred
  • AZ RN license or RN License from a Compact State
  • Current BLS Card (American Heart Association Only), Current ACLS Card (or within 6 months of hire), NRP certification within 6 months of hire
