About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Health Specialist to join our team at Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health. As a Behavioral Health Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality behavioral health services to individuals with autism spectrum disorders and other developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct functional behavioral assessments to identify underlying causes of challenging behaviors
  • Develop and implement behavior support plans to promote positive behavior change
  • Provide training and coaching to staff on behavior support plans and positive behavioral interventions
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary treatment teams to provide comprehensive care to individuals
  • Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of behavior support plans and other relevant records
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in Psychology, Applied Behavioral Analysis, or a related field
  • BCBA certification
  • A minimum of two years of experience designing and implementing behavior modification intervention services
  • Strong applied behavior analysis skills and experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities and/or autism spectrum disorders
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
