Deliver Exceptional Patient Care as a Clinical Nurse Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinical Nurse Coordinator to join our Medical Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) at Alaska Regional Hospital. As a highly qualified nurse, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

About the Role
  • Assist the Nursing Unit Director in planning, implementing, and assessing daily nursing functions and services provided in the unit.
  • Provide supervisory and management oversight for staff members and departmental resources and processes.
  • Foster a collaborative environment by coordinating functions with physicians and other departments, promoting positive working relationships.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to utilize your exceptional interpersonal, time management, and communication skills to ensure seamless transitions and optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements
  • Current Alaska nursing license in good standing.
  • Associate's degree in nursing required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Certified Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification.
  • American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications within 90 days of hire.
  • National Institutes of Health (NIH) training.
