Job Summary:A Line & Grade Surveyor is required to provide support for the installation of layout on a project. The successful candidate will utilize Leica robotics with survey equipment such as story poles, levels, transits, and lasers. The role requires strong math skills, including algebra and trigonometry, and the ability to work effectively within a team.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct survey calculations, analysis, and pre-pour concrete checkouts.
- Verify the accuracy of field survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites.
- Check field crews at project locations for job-related problems.
- Assist in the layout of work by holding the end of the tape, level rod, prism pole, plumb bob, or other similar tools.
- Drives stakes, hubs, and grade nails.
- Aligns and plumbs all types of forms.
- Assist in the setting of anchor bolts and imbeds.
- Verify layout to ensure no misalignments or inaccuracies.
- Assist in checking accuracy of surveying equipment.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience with construction surveying.
- Strong math skills, including algebra and trigonometry.
- Ability to work effectively within a team.
- Ability to exert physical effort, handling average weight objects up to 50 pounds.
- Pass a hair follicle drug screen and background check.
