Nurse Position at Spectrum Health Systems

Job Summary:

Spectrum Health Systems, Inc. is seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse to join our team in Millbury, MA.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medication to clients as outlined in medication administration policy.
• Control, count, and document onsite medication.
• Educate clients on use, purpose, side effects, and other information relating to medication-assisted treatment.
• Verify medication orders with the physician and transcribe physician's orders.
• Assist in the admission process and document substance use diagnosis as required.

Requirements:

• Must be a Massachusetts Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN).
• Must have a current CPR certificate or obtain certification within 90 days of hire.
• Must display the use of appropriate independent judgment to determine appropriate course of action in resolving problems and in emergencies.
• Must be able to express self adequately in written and oral communication and to communicate effectively in an interdisciplinary, culturally diverse setting with clients, families, staff, and regulatory agencies.
• Experience in substance abuse/mental health field or an acute care inpatient healthcare environment preferred.

Working Hours:

• Part-time, 32 hours.
• 5:00am-1:30pm Tues, Wed, every other Thurs., Fri, and every other Saturday.

Pay Rate:

• $ (LPN), $ (RN). + $ weekend shift differential.
