Sales Director OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced Sales Director to lead our Neuromodulation business in a specified region or major geographical area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for directing the sales of Abbott Deep Brain Stimulation Therapies products and/or services.
This role requires excellent leadership skills, as you will exercise direct supervision over Company sales representatives and act in a liaison capacity with independent sales rep firms. You will also recommend, interpret, and implement corporate, division, or organizationally specific policies and procedures to accomplish assignments and resolve a broad range of issues and problems.
Key Responsibilities- Set goals and ensure they are met while driving continuous process improvement
- Maintain a safe working environment and strong customer focus
- Prepare annual regional sales forecasts and participate in determining market potential and sales expense estimates
- Plan and manage the DBS sales effort for assigned regions
- Maintain contact with major accounts within assigned regions and assist sales representatives with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or equivalent
- Typically eight plus years of experience in the medical device product areas or related discipline, including direct experience in product sales
- Direct knowledge about physicians in the medical device market
- Documented record of delivering sales information that adds value to management's decision-making process
We offer a competitive salary range of $119,500.00 – $220,400.00, depending on location. In addition to your base pay, you can expect to receive benefits such as health insurance, retirement savings plan, tuition reimbursement, and education assistance.
