Job Summary:

As an Electrical Instrumentation Technician at The Kraft Heinz Company, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and calibrating industrial instrumentation to ensure accurate readings and optimal equipment performance. Your expertise in electrical systems and instrumentation will be crucial in maintaining the efficiency and productivity of our production lines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain, and calibrate industrial instrumentation, including level, weight, flow, pressure, temperature, and position sensors.
  • Remove old equipment and install new equipment, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal downtime.
  • Complete work orders associated with assigned equipment, prioritizing tasks to meet production schedules.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on all assigned equipment to ensure maximum effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Assist in monitoring and communicating specific spare parts needs, utilizing Standard Operating Procedures to remove and order storeroom parts or supplies.
  • Provide solutions to issues or opportunities that contribute to the operation in the areas of Quality, Safety, and Productivity.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalency.
  • Four years as an electrician apprentice or two years as an industrial electrician.
  • Two years experience repairing and trouble-shooting high-speed production equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams or blueprints and/or other forms of engineering drawings.
  • Basic computer skills and math knowledge.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to operate well in a team environment.
  • The ability to stand on concrete floors for an extended period, climb narrow stairs or ladders repeatedly, work in confined spaces, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds during the shift.
  • The ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to successfully complete required skills testing.
