Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Manager to lead our large commercial construction projects in the Portland, OR area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing project schedules, budgets, and resources, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of large commercial construction projects.
  • Support the Project Manager in managing project schedules, budgets, and resources.
  • Oversee the procurement of materials, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with project specifications.
  • Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and address any issues that arise.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure project goals are met.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and meeting minutes.
  • Utilize project management software to track project milestones and deliverables.
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with all project stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project engineering or construction management, preferably with large commercial projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Autodesk, Microsoft Project).
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.
