Deliver Exceptional Patient Care

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at St. Joseph Hospital Eureka.

About the Role

As a Critical Care RN, you will provide high-quality patient care to critically ill newborns and their families. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill newborns, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition, adjusting care plans as needed
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program
  • Current California Registered Nurse License upon hire
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification upon hire
  • National Provider NRP - American Academy of Pediatrics certification upon hire
  • 1 year of experience in neonatal or pediatric critical care
