Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our team at Medicine for Business and Industry. As a key member of our occupational medicine team, you will provide high-quality patient care and services to our clients in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough medical evaluations, including review of past medical history, family history, social history, and review of symptoms
  • Perform physical examinations, including review of vital signs, vision, hearing, and electrocardiograms
  • Review and interpret radiographs of the chest, back, and/or extremities to determine the presence of a pre-existing condition
  • Evaluate and manage common occupational musculoskeletal injuries, work-related injuries to the head, chest, or abdomen, and other work-related conditions
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, including prescription of medications and therapy, ordering and interpretation of radiographs, and referral for specialized testing or specialty care as needed
  • Communicate effectively with clients, staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and services
Requirements
  • Master's degree and valid, unrestricted state licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
  • FMCSA certification for DOT exams, or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire
  • Current CPR certification
  • NRCME certification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with clear and effective verbal and written communication
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Strong organizational skills and customer service orientation
