Rehabilitation Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Mass General Brigham Home Care. This is a part-time, weekend shift position that offers the opportunity to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to patients in their place of residence.
About the RoleThis role will involve providing physical therapy services to patients who have physical impairments, functional limitations or disabilities resulting from injury, disease or other causes. Patients may range in age from birth to over 100 years, requiring a wide range of skills and knowledge.
As a Physical Therapist on our team, you will collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and other allied health professionals to identify patient needs and coordinate services to meet those needs. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing a plan of care that is patient and family focused, with standardized interventions for goal-oriented outcomes
- Daily documentation that is accurate and timely
- Applying standard treatment procedures
- Providing education to patients and caregivers
To be considered for this role, you must have one year of experience in acute care, rehab, or homecare as a Physical Therapist. You should also be registered with the Board of Registration in Massachusetts and possess strong customer service skills, with the ability to work with diverse populations.
You will need excellent verbal, written, and electronic communication skills, as well as computer proficiency and the ability to learn new software. Additionally, you should be able to prioritize work and adapt to changing situations, with travel required within the Mass General Brigham Healthcare at Home's geographic area.

About the SalaryThe estimated salary for this role is $85,000 per year, based on national averages for Physical Therapists in Massachusetts. However, please note that salaries may vary depending on factors such as location, experience, and qualifications.
