Manufacturing Specialist

Pursuit Aerospace is a leading manufacturer of high-quality aerospace components, and we are currently seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Under general direction, manage projects related to aerospace component engineering and manufacturing.
• Establish manufacturing methods and process sequences for new and existing parts and assemblies.
• Develop inspection method sheets and initiate tool design concepts.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing problems and implement method and tool improvements.
• Collaborate with other manufacturing engineers, shop floor personnel, management, and customers and vendors.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing or equivalent engineering plus five years of experience or six to ten years of experience in an aerospace engineering environment.
• Excellent applied math skills, including geometry and trigonometry.
• Able to understand and interpret complex blueprints, customer specifications, and engineering sketches.
• Proficient in Solid Edge, NX, and MS Project.
• Familiarity with aerospace welding, coatings, heat treatment, machining, and sheet metal fabrications.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing techniques knowledge.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
