Human Resources Director

At the College of St. Scholastica, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Director to join our team. This key leadership role will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR, with a proven track record of developing and implementing effective HR strategies. They will be responsible for overseeing all HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, labor relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, training and development, and compliance.
The Human Resources Director will work closely with the executive team to advise on HR-related matters and provide insights on workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational development. They will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with all regulations where we have employees.
The successful candidate will have excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with employees at all levels. They will also have strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute HR strategies that support the company's goals and enhance organizational performance.
- Advise the executive team on HR-related matters and provide insights on workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational development.
- Ensure compliance with all regulations where we have employees.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or other relevant HR certification is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing HR strategies that align with business objectives.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with employees at all levels.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
