Compressed Air Systems Training Specialist

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a skilled professional to develop and deliver technical training programs for compressed air systems.
The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with compressed air systems, specifically rotary screw and centrifugal compressors. Prior field service technician experience is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth training on troubleshooting and maintaining rotary screw and centrifugal compressors, air dryers, and control systems.
- Lead classroom and lab-based training sessions using a variety of materials and adult learning methods.
- Mentor junior technicians, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and align training programs with strategic business objectives.
- Continuously refine training instructions and procedures to support technician development.
- Track and report on training KPIs, including time-to-billable status and efficiency improvements, to ensure alignment with business goals.
- Collaborate with internal and external resources to enhance the company's technician training program.
Training Program Management:
- Review and facilitate technical training materials (manuals, PowerPoints, certification exams) and maintain a quarterly and annual training calendar for technician development.
- Conduct certification exams and manage training evaluations for new hires over their first 120 days.
- Coordinate logistics for off-site training sessions as required, and annually update training curricula to meet industry needs.
Business and Process Optimization:
- Provide market insights by interacting with other industry leaders, and develop training proposals and marketing materials for customer-facing teams.
- Work with cross-functional teams on customer training initiatives, presenting program outcomes at executive meetings, and supporting special projects as needed.
- Partner with Service leadership to identify revenue-generating opportunities through service training for key accounts.
Reporting and Data Management:
- Regularly report on training metrics, including certification rates, training costs, and time-to-billable status, with comprehensive evaluations for each certification level.
- Track program outcomes and present key insights to the executive team to ensure informed decision-making.
Estimated Salary Range: $60,000–$85,000 per year
Location: Charlotte, NC (with up to 50% travel)
