Job Title: Registered Nurse - NICU Position

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit team at Inova Fair Oaks Hospital.

Responsibilities:

* Provide knowledgeable and caring clinical practice and care coordination through an understanding of patient, family, nurse, and healthcare delivery team.

* Communicate effectively and work cooperatively with others.

* Have respect for and understanding of other clinical disciplines.

* Use an integrated approach toward patient outcomes.

Requirements:

* Experience - 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse, 1 year of specialty RN experience if required by unit.

* Certification - Basic Life Support through American Heart Association required at hire.

* Licensure - Licensed Registered Nurse or eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered Nurse.

Education:

* BSN from an accredited school of nursing.

* If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.

* BLS for Healthcare Provider certification required from American Heart Association (AHA).
