Job Summary

Aequor Technologies is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Medical-Surgical unit. As a Nurse Specialist, you will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients, managing a wide range of medical conditions and post-operative care. Your expertise will be invaluable in monitoring and assessing patient vital signs, symptoms, and overall condition, documenting findings accurately and promptly. You will administer medications, IV therapies, and other treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring proper dosages and adherence to protocols. Additionally, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for each patient. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized environment, adhering to infection control policies and procedures to ensure patient safety. Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Medical-Surgical unit
  • Monitor and assess patient vital signs, symptoms, and overall condition
  • Administer medications, IV therapies, and other treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for each patient
  • Maintain a clean and organized environment, adhering to infection control policies and procedures

Requirements
  • Strong understanding of medical-surgical nursing practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and hospital information systems
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and transferring patients
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in good standing
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Med Surg Nurse or in a similar role
