Corporate Recruiter
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Corporate Recruiter to join our team at Burnett Specialists Staffing | Recruiting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the civil engineering industry and a proven track record in sourcing, screening, and placing technical professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement all phases of the recruitment process, including collaborating with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
- Collaborate with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions.
- Identify and implement efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
- Lead and coordinate events for recruiting efforts.
- Manage the on-boarding and off-boarding processes, including new hire orientations.
- Manage and maintain the integrity of the ATS, HRIS system, and data.
- Utilize various channels to identify and attract qualified civil engineering candidates.
- Conduct thorough interviews and assessments to evaluate candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit for client organizations.
- Work closely with hiring managers to understand their specific needs and requirements, providing guidance on job descriptions and interview training, candidate profiles, and hiring processes.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with both clients and candidates, ensuring a positive recruitment experience for all parties involved.
- Manage the company's internal internship program.
- Coordinate career fairs and logistics while collaborating with the hiring managers' schedules for attendance.
- Track and report on recruitment metrics, providing regular updates to management on candidate pipelines, placements, and overall recruitment performance.
- Provide and analyze Ad Hoc reports as needed.
- Perform projects and other duties as assigned.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3-5+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in civil engineering or related technical fields.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment tools.
- Highly adaptable and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to build rapport and communicate professionally with all levels of the firm.
- Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion at all times.
- SHRM/PHR certified preferred.
