Job Title: Medical Assistant - Patient Care Specialist
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at USA Clinics Group. As a Medical Assistant - Patient Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our clinical team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and escort them to examination rooms, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.
- Assist patients with completing forms and provide clear instructions on clinic policies and procedures.
- Schedule appointments and accommodate patient needs, including ordering transportation and rescheduling as necessary.
- Contact insurance companies to verify patient eligibility and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Perform various clerical tasks, such as copying, filing, and faxing, to support the clinical team.
- Comply with patient needs at all times, ensuring that all questions are answered and concerns are addressed.
- Maintain procedure rooms to ensure they are clean and ready for use at all times.
- Assist doctors during Endovenous Laser Therapy procedures, following individual doctor preferences and instructions.
- Prepare patients before procedures and clean up after, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.
- Ensure patients receive post-procedure instructions and information on obtaining medication if needed.
- Monitor supply levels and replace as necessary to maintain a well-stocked and efficient clinic.
- Apply knowledge of sterile techniques and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Prepare IV solution and perform other tasks as assigned by the clinical team.
- Train new staff members as needed to ensure a smooth transition and high-quality patient care.
- Assist ultrasound staff as needed to support the clinical team.
- Transport supplies or equipment as needed to maintain a well-organized and efficient clinic.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the clinical team to support the smooth operation of the clinic.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Certified Medical Assistant (CCMA/CMA/RMA)
- Fluency in English and Spanish
