The estimated annual salary for this position is $55,000-$70,000 based on experience and qualifications.

Job Responsibilities

As a Child Life Professional, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering play-based interventions and developing individualized care plans that align with each patient's medical and psychosocial needs.
  • Promoting emotional, social, and cognitive growth of patients, considering the context of their family, culture, and developmental stage.
  • Enhancing patients' and families' understanding of medical procedures and diagnoses using developmentally appropriate techniques.
Requirements & Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Child Life Development, Early Childhood Education, or Pediatric Psychology (or related field).
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience working with children in a healthcare setting.
  • Certified Child Life Specialist (CCLS) certification required.
