Job Title: Director Diagnostic Cardiology

INTEGRIS Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director Diagnostic Cardiology to lead our cardiovascular diagnostic services team in Oklahoma City, OK.

Job Summary:

The Director Diagnostic Cardiology will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing a wide range of sophisticated cardiovascular diagnostic services according to established medical practice and institutional policies and procedures. This role will supervise department personnel in Cardiac Ultrasound, Cardiac Nuclear, Mobile Echo, Mobile Nuclear, EKG, and Cardiac PAC's System.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement departmental budgets, fiscal accountability, and achieving financial goals/results
  • Evaluate equipment and clinical techniques for recommendation for purchase or implementation
  • Ensure departmental adherence to established clinical and administrative policies, procedures, and practices
  • Conduct regular employee performance appraisal evaluations
  • Monitor the activity of the outreach clients on the EKG and Cardiology PACS management systems
  • Oversee the Cardiology PAC's system and monitor billing processes for all departments
  • Meet regularly with Medical Directors for each specific department to discuss operations and align with INTEGRIS and IHH strategies
  • Provide training and act as liaison for issue resolution with all INTEGRIS Diagnostic Cardiology systems
  • Develop and coordinate physician reading panels annually for Unassigned Echos and EKG interpretation for continuous coverage
  • Capture and provide accurate RVU data from diagnostic procedures for cardiologists
Requirements:
  • Masters degree in related field OR obtained within 18 months of hire
  • 5 years of full-time experience in cardiac ultrasound or diagnostic/invasive cardiovascular services and have a minimum of 3-year prior supervisor experience required
  • Registry in either ARRT or ARDMS required
  • Must be knowledgeable of the scope of services provided by this department
  • Working knowledge in the operation of personal computer equipment, particularly as it relates to the use of computerized systems employed in the specialized equipment used within the department
  • Must have experience with Cardiology PACS system
