About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Resource Coordinator Manager to join our team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for coordinating resources, staff, and activities to ensure efficient and effective delivery of quality services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Coordination: Lead and coordinate section staffing, organization of staff activities, inventory control of technical and clerical supplies, and submission of supply requests in accordance with budget constraints and volume demands.
  • Section Coordination: Provide lead direction/supervision for all processes and procedures, oversee staff adjustments in Automated Time Recording system, vacation requests, and leave requests, assure consistent quality customer service to all customers, orient, train, and assist in evaluation of section personnel.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee inventory system to ensure appropriate and adequate supply levels to meet department requirements, submit supply requests in accordance with section budget requirements and purchasing requirements.
  • Troubleshooting and Repair: Coordinate operation and maintenance of laboratory equipment, troubleshoot and repair as necessary, call for outside service when needed.
  • Quality Management: Take a leadership role in developing, overseeing, and participating in departmental quality improvement activities, collect data to support measurement and tracking of quality management, incorporate results of QM audits in the improvement of services and enhancement of patient care.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology, Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, Chemistry, Biology, or Allied Health qualifying the applicant to take the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) certification examination.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of relevant clinical laboratory experience, prior leadership experience preferred.
  • Licenses/Certifications: General MLS or MT (ASCP) Certification or eligible, categorical BB, C, H or M (ASCP) Certification or eligible, ASCP certified within one year of employment if eligible, qualifies as a General Supervisor under CLIA'88 regulations.

Compensation: The estimated salary range for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
