Job Description:
- Performs multi-skilled activities to support a decentralized patient-centered approach to patient care and achieve desired outcomes.
- Assists in examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a physician.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Completion of an accredited medical assisting program with one year of patient care experience preferred.
- Certification through the American Medical Technologist (AMT), American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), National Health career Association (NHA), MedCA, or National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP) as a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) required.
Physical Requirements:
The ability to perform job functions while standing, sitting, walking, climbing stairs, and working indoors or outdoors in temperature extremes is required.
