Delicatessen Assistant

Job Overview:
As a Deli Clerk at Lowes Foods, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest service through various deli department activities. This role requires a friendly, outgoing personality to interact with guests and ensure they have an excellent experience.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare product for sale by frying, cutting, slicing, weighing, and pricing. Maintain product levels, quality, and freshness in the cooler, freezer, prep area, and sales area. Ensure sanitation standards are met in all areas. Communicate guest requests and temperature breakdowns to management. Perform front porch duties to maintain high guest arrival standards. Announce specials and sales information on the PA system. Assist in product receiving and storage.

Qualifications:
Friendly, outgoing personality. Ability to work well with others. Ability to lift 25 lbs consistently and 50 lbs occasionally. Ability to read and understand information and direction. Effective communication, guest service, and selling skills. Must be at least 18 years old. Ability to bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods of time.
