We are seeking a highly skilled Cook to join our team at Crown Sports Center in Fruitland, Maryland.
About the Position:
The successful candidate will provide exceptional culinary services and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment. As a key member of our food and beverage team, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, managing inventory, and ensuring excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cook and prepare food according to established recipes and quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to health and safety protocols
- Manage inventory, ordering supplies as needed, and maintaining accurate records
- Provide excellent customer service, responding promptly to requests and inquiries
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless service delivery
- Assist with venue distribution and warehouse operations, including inventory management and minor equipment maintenance
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree or certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year experience in a commercial kitchen setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
Compensation and Benefits:
$45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
