Primary Care Registered Nurse Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Prevea Health in East DePere. This full-time position will involve working 36 hours per week, providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our clinic.

About the Role

This role is an integral part of our clinic team, delivering patient-centered care through telephone triage and consultation, assessing patient needs, and facilitating appointments with physicians and advanced provider clinicians.

  • Manage patient health concerns through telephone triage and consultation.
  • Facilitate access to appropriate care by assessing needs and offering clinical options using medical judgment within scope of licensure.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement patient care plans for optimal outcomes.
  • Provide direct patient care, including rooming patients, obtaining medical information, performing comprehensive initial patient assessments, and maintaining patient charts/records.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A current and valid Registered Nurse license with the state of WI.
  • CPR/BLS Certification - Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification from an approved program.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and behaviors.
  • Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment.

Working Conditions

This role requires occasional sitting, standing, walking, driving, climbing stairs/ladders, bending (neck/waist), squatting, twisting/turning (neck/waist), lifting/carrying (0-10 lbs.), pushing/pulling (11-25 lbs.), reaching (above/below shoulder level), simple grasping (hands/arms), fine manipulation (hands/arms), and gross manipulation (hands/arms). You may be exposed to extreme cold, extreme heat, humidity, wet conditions, noise, and hazards. Additionally, you will need to hear whispers < 3 feet and color discriminate constantly.
