Role Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team at Soliant. As a BCBA, you will play a vital role in the development and implementation of behavior intervention plans for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Your expertise will be instrumental in improving outcomes for our students and their families.

About the Position

This is a full-time opportunity working with a caseload of ASD students. You will work closely with school personnel, parents, and community agencies to ensure that the student's unique needs are met and interventions are consistent across environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive functional behavior assessments (FBAs) to identify the underlying causes of challenging behaviors exhibited by students.
  • Develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on the findings from the FBA, employing evidence-based strategies and techniques.
  • Provide training and support to staff members on the effective implementation of BIPs, ensuring consistent and appropriate interventions.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of BIPs by systematically collecting and analyzing data on student behavior.
Requirements
  • Hold a valid Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
  • Previous experience working with students with disabilities and challenging behaviors in a school setting is preferred but not required.
  • Exhibit exceptional organizational and communication skills to effectively collaborate with school personnel, parents, and community agencies.
