About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Road and Highway Project Manager to join our team at Parsons Corporation. As a key member of our Critical Infrastructure team, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical deliverables of a civil design team and ensuring the successful delivery of road and highway projects.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the technical deliverables of a civil design team, ensuring high-quality engineering and meeting project schedules from design through construction.
  • Utilize technical expertise to ensure the highest quality engineering is delivered to meet all design requirements.
  • Participate in the proposal process and stay technically hands-on throughout the life of the project, managing the project through final execution.
  • Identify new business opportunities with current contacts in the region and help grow the business.
  • Qualifications
    • 12 years or more experience on major road and highway projects, with a demonstrated work history in project management.
    • VA/MD/DC experience is required.
    • BS degree in civil engineering or a related field is required, and a background in road/highway projects, as well as previous supervisory or PM experience, is required.
    • Must have the ability and willingness to interface with clients, participate in BD functions, and enjoy being hands-on technically in the project.
    • Proven leadership and team-building skills along with a professional demeanor.
    • Knowledge of VA/MD/DC clients and professional network in the area is preferred, but PM experience with state DOT projects in other states is considered.
    • PE license is required.
