  • Intraoperative Patient Care: Monitor patients' vital signs and physiological responses during surgery, alerting the surgical team to any changes or concerns.
  • Safety and Infection Control: Adhere to strict aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to minimize the risk of surgical site infections.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with the surgical team, including surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and surgical technologists, to ensure coordinated patient care.
  • Postoperative Support: Assist in transferring patients to post-anesthesia care units (PACUs) or recovery rooms, ensuring patient comfort and safety during transport.

  • Current certification as a Certified First Assistant (CFA)
