Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our team in this hybrid role. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, developing customer relationships, and driving submission and premium production to meet minimum sales activity goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate New Business Opportunities:
    • Share the Apogee story with independent retail agents, highlighting our service promises, specialization, speed, accessibility, and value-added service.
    • Utilize sales skills to demonstrate the features and benefits of all Apogee products and services.
    • Ask probing questions to uncover customer pain and obstacles in regards to professional liability, converting these entry-points to new business applications.
  • Develop Customer Relationships:
    • Work to know assigned territory and customers, building trusting relationships and Apogee believers.
    • Grow the Apogee brand by prospecting for new customer potential in assigned territory.
    • Be a customer advocate during the insurance application/underwriting and quoting process.
  • Drive Submission and Premium Production:
    • Monitor production of customers to achieve goals.
    • Schedule joint video conferencing customer appointments with carrier partners and in-house product experts/leadership quarterly.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • P&C License (must obtain within first 90 days of employment).
  • Excellent verbal presentation and computer skills.
  • Energetic, goal-oriented, methodical, accountable, and has a positive attitude.

Benefits

  • Commission-based sales role plus base salary with uncapped earning potential based on results.

Estimated Salary Range: $60,000 - $100,000 per year
