Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Sales Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing account relationships, creating and managing daily customer quotations, and negotiating plan and spec jobs with respective house accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage account relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Create and manage daily customer quotations to meet customer needs
  • Negotiate plan and spec jobs with respective house accounts to drive sales growth
  • Complete order entry, order maintenance, and management of order delivery process to ensure timely and accurate delivery
  • Manage weekly bid schedule to prioritize projects and communicate bid date and time to stakeholders
  • Prioritize projects and communicate bid date and time to stakeholders, coordinating quoting responsibilities and objectives with Commercial Territory Managers
  • Manage quote follow-up process, including updating weekly open quote reports and updating CRM to reflect quote status and coordination with 3rd party vendors
  • Assist in credit and collection activities to ensure timely payment and minimize bad debt
  • Manage the order credit approval process to avoid delays and past due orders
  • Prepare and manage submittals and orders accurately, reducing manual overrides and allowances
  • Coordinate and manage quotes and orders within guidelines for residential districts

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5 years related experience in sales support or a related field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including effective listening skills
  • Ability to learn and understand technical terminology
  • Ability to organize multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Detailed knowledge of the organization, products, and/or services
  • Knowledge of MS Office and a variety of other applications
  • Leadership ability and adaptability
