Chemical Dependency Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Chemical Dependency Behavioral Health team at West Pines. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.
About the RoleThis full-time position involves 36 hours per week on a night shift. You will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, where no two days are ever the same.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, recognize, and address patients' psychological and physical needs
- Foster quality care with the best interests of patients and their families in mind
- Communicate effectively and compassionately with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Comply with evaluation, treatment, and documentation guidelines
- Oversee care delivered by LPNs and/or CNAs
- Participate in clinical team conferences
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS-HCP) certification upon hire or obtained within 60 days of hire with prior approval
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing
