This is an exciting opportunity to join Inter Technologies Corporation as a seasoned AV systems professional in our East Region team. As a Lead AV Technician, you will oversee the installation and integration of complex audio-visual systems across various locations in the Buffalo, NY metropolitan area and beyond.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced AV technician with strong leadership skills to direct and manage teams responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of high-end AV equipment. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring seamless operations and excellent customer experiences.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Direct and manage teams of AV technicians on job sites, providing guidance and oversight to ensure efficient installations and repairs.
  • Coordinate and schedule travel arrangements and accommodations for AV technician teams as needed.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills of junior technicians and promote knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and preferences, ensuring that our solutions meet their expectations.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in AV system installation and management, preferably with a background in leading teams.
  • CTS certification (or ability to obtain CTS-I certification within 12 months).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel regularly, often on short notice, and adapt to varying work schedules and environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving and time management skills, with a focus on delivering results under pressure.
