Imaging Department Manager

The Imaging Department Manager at Deaconess is responsible for the effective management and operation of the imaging department, ensuring high-quality diagnostic imaging services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and operate the imaging department to ensure high-quality diagnostic imaging services.
- Lead and direct imaging technologies and staff to provide exceptional patient care.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements:
Evidence of Radiology Technology training from the United States Military or graduate of an accredited school of Radiation Sciences is required.
Experience:
Experience in CT and Angiography required. Five years experience as a staff technologist required. Supervisory experience preferred.
Licenses/Certificates:
ARRT certification with CT registry required. Illinois State IEMA certification required within six months of hire. Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) or Red Cross BLS certification required upon hire.
