About the Role

Fidelity TalentSource LLC, an in-house temporary staffing provider for Fidelity Investments, is currently seeking a skilled Software Engineer in Test to join their team in Durham, NC. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the delivery of high-quality financial planning tools and services.

Job Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for developing and executing automated tests for high-volume batch applications, ensuring seamless integration with continuous deployment pipelines. Additionally, they will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and quality assurance.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required.
  • Demonstrated experience in Java, Spring Boot, and Rest Assured, as well as other object-oriented programming (OOP) skills.
  • Proficiency in Big Data technologies, including Spark.
  • Knowledge of Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) testing with Cucumber and Gherkin.
  • Familiarity with Agile software development processes and tools like JIRA, GIT/Stash, and Splunk.
  • Experience with DevSecOps practices, including Jenkins, virtualization, and automated testing.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing and batch processing.
  • Ability to develop new skills as the platforms evolve.

Compensation and Benefits
